Quality Assurance

St Patrick’s College, Thurles, is committed to providing third level education of the highest quality. In order to ensure that the institution satisfactorily fulfils this goal, St Patrick’s College is committed to regular assessment of the quality of its programmes, policies, procedures, services and facilities by means of self-evaluation and external review. Through its Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures the College has a coherent framework within which continued excellence may be striven for and which assures potential students and staff of the provision and maintenance of the highest standards of third level education in line with recognised best practice both nationally and internationally.

Quality Assurance Manual

As a provider of HETAC accredited programmes, St. Patrick’s College conducted a sell-evaluation review and underwent a joint institutional and programmatic review process in the academic year 2008-2009.  This process culminated in an external review conducted by an external panel who published recommendations to which the college responded.  Details can be examined in the documenation below:
