Dr Martin Fitzgerald













I am employed in the Rural Development Department of Tipperary Institute as a lecturer in Education and Human Development. I jointly coordinate the Education Stream on the BA in Education Religious Studies, Business/Irish Studies in St Patrick’s College which is run in collaboration with Tipperary Institute. I also work on various projects relating to teacher education both at preservice and in-service level.

Research Interests:

I am a member of a number of networks (EDIN, ESAI, and Ubuntu) and have published a number of papers both in the UK and Ireland on various aspects of education and teaching.

Dr Jennie Clifford
Outside of her lecturing role in St Patrick’s College, Thurles, Sr. Jennie is a Research Supervisor at All Hallows College, Dublin and a Supervisor of Chaplaincy Practice at Mater Dei Institute of Education, Dublin. She also works as Co-ordinator of Global Education Experience, Presentation Sisters Network.
