Qualifications:MA in Education (Management); B. Religious Science; H. Diploma in Arts in School Guidance and Counselling.
Counsellor: My role involves being available to students in a supportive capacity throughout the academic year; both one to one counselling and group counselling are available. This is a confidential service and can be arranged at short notice by appointment.
Chaplaincy: This involves preparing the students for the running of an R.E. department in a school. In St. Pat’s we offer many short training programmes such as Liturgical Dance, Liturgy Preparation, Folk group organization, Meditation etc. The workshops are given by Mary Teresa Mc Cormack and certification is given to students who attend.
Schools Liaison: I am available for school visits to promote programmes at St Patrick’s College. I organise the literature for schools and attend the Careers Fairs throughout the country.
